Montessori – Trip to Fire Station

The little learners of Montessori at the Glow Montessori Centre, Electronic City were excited about the field trip to the Fire station and Community Helpers being the theme of the month. On the day of their field trip, the children came to school, ready for a fun day. Coincidentally, many were dressed in red. Their interest peaked, as it was the first time the children had taken a short trip with their friends. There were children who had boarded the bus for the first time too. At the fire station, they looked at the red fire trucks gleefully. They listened to the fire personnel explain about their attire, hoses and pumps on the fire truck, and the huge ladders which can take them to higher floors of any buildings. They were ecstatic on seeing a display of water being sprayed from different water jets. All in all, this was an experience which they will remember for a long time.
