Kindergarten - Role play

KG1 - Community Helpers

As the culmination of the EVS topic “Community Helpers” KG1 students of GMCHRD had a ‘Role play’ activity throughout the week from 28th August to 1st September 2023.to enhance their knowledge. It was organized in such a way that children used tools of different helpers and introduced themselves. The value of ‘Respect for all Helpers’ was inculcated in them by making them aware that all jobs are important and worthy of respect.

KG2 - Safety Rules

To guide our students from early years, to know about safety, an activity was organized for the students of KG 2 in GMCHRD as a culmination of the topic “Safety rules” This activity was conducted on 24th August 2023. Practical demonstration about the basic road rules, the dos and don’ts were done. They were also briefed about general rules to be followed on the roads and in their own residential areas. A 'Traffic Kindergarten' featuring a model street to educate children about traffic rules and road safety had been set up. Children were excited demonstrate the traffic rules on the traffic path.

All students were very enthusiastic throughout the activity and enjoyed it a lot. So, all in all the students were learning when they were playing, and the desired learning outcome was met.
