Children’s Day 2022

On the occasion of Children’s Day or Bal Diwas, a week-long celebration was organised at Glow Montessori Centre, making it a truly memorable experience for the Montessori munchkins.

The Montessori Seniors participated in ‘Cookie Rookie’, donning the chef’s hat for fireless cooking, and conducted a ‘Plethora of Science Experiments’ where young scientists demonstrated natural phenomena in a fun and engaging way. They also took part in storytelling sessions — “Once upon a time” — bringing characters like the clever Cap Seller and the hardworking Little Red Hen to life with colourful props and expressive voice modulations.

The Juniors participated in ‘Show and Tell with a Glow and Expel’, speaking eloquently on various topics, and showcased ‘Art in Motion’ through origami creations like butterflies, cats, dogs, and boats. Our youngest learners stole hearts in the ‘Montessori Masquerades’, dressed as characters such as Jhansi Ki Rani, Kings, Lord Hanuman, Spiderman, Elsa, and more.

The Freshers looked stunning as they walked the ramp accompanied by Seniors. The celebration concluded with Musical Melodies — action songs by Freshers and shlokas or songs by Juniors. Teachers added to the joy with a puppet show, ‘The Real Giraffe’, and an action song, ‘Making Melodies’, which the children thoroughly enjoyed.

The week ended on a heartwarming note as children took home lollipops wrapped in red roses, Chacha Nehru’s favourite accessory, echoing his timeless words:

“Children are the key to success and development of the country.”
