On the occasion of Children’s Day or Bal Diwas, a week-long celebration was organised at Glow Montessori Centre and made it memorable for the Montessori Munchkins.

The Montessori Seniors participated in ‘Cookie Rookie', donning the chef’s hat to do some fireless cooking and conducted a 'Plethora of Science Experiment' where the young scientists demonstrated some natural phenomenon in a fun way. They also participated in story telling - “Once upon a time” and effortlessly narrated stories about the clever Cap Seller, hardworking Little Red Hen bringing the characters to life with their colourful props and voice modulations.

The Juniors came prepared for the event titled ‘Show and Tell with a Glow and Expel' where they eloquently spoke about various interesting topics and performed some origami - making butterfly, cat, dog and boat to showcase 'Art in motion’. Our youngest lot won everyone's heart by coming dressed in different costumes which included - 'Jhansi ki Rani', ‘A King’, ‘Lord Hanuman’, ‘Spiderman’, ’Elsa’ to name a few for the ‘Montessori Masquerades’.

All our Freshers looked stunning in their respective attire as they walked the ramp accompanied by the Seniors. The action-packed weeklong celebration concluded with Musical Melodies - action songs by the Freshers and shloka or songs by Juniors. The teachers added their bit to make the event grand with a puppet show ‘The real Giraffe’- a story of a boy who wanted a pet giraffe and an action song ‘Making melodies’ which the children enjoyed profusely. Children were overjoyed to take home the lollipop wrapped in a Red Rose which was Chacha Nehru's favourite accessory resonating with his quote,

"Children are the key to success and development of the country."
